40! It's the newest 30.

So, now the hens are producing 40-45 eggs per day. Fabulous! Now I just have to get that silly website finished.

The hens are holding up their side of the contract, so I best get busy and finish all the marketing aspects for them!

30! It's the new 20!

Well, my little talk must have done some good as we got 30 eggs for the first time on the 6th! I think my "hen-speak" must be improving!

Egg Transformation

So, it turns out that eggs can be transformed into other things.

Come on 30!

We've been getting between 26-29 eggs for the last few days. I've had a sit down with the hens and they've all agreed to try a little harder. We may see 30 eggs by the end of the week!

16 Eggs yesterday! Evidently the ELU (Egg Laying University) is finally working!

Well, the chicks are all growing up nicely (minus the one the dog ate), so in a couple of weeks we should be seeing some practice eggs! Stay tuned!
